Highly Sensitive Coupled Oscillator Based on an Exceptional Point of Degeneracy and Nonlinearity

چکیده

We propose a scheme to obtain highly sensitive oscillators in coupled-resonator system with an exceptional point of degeneracy (EPD) and small instability. The oscillator the is realized by using two coupled resonators almost balanced small-signal gain loss, that saturates due nonlinear effects active component, resulting oscillation frequency very perturbation circuit. Two cases are investigated, parallel $LC$ loss either wirelessly mutual inductance or wired capacitor. This paper demonstrates theoretically experimentally conditions second-order EPD analyzes ultrasensitivity components' perturbation, including case asymmetric breaks $PT$ symmetry. discuss nonlinearity on performance how proposed improves sensing's sensitivity perturbations. In contrast previous methods, our degenerate can sense positive negative changes circuit component. may find applications various areas, such as ultrasensitive sensors, tunable oscillators, modulators.

a novel and ultra low cost isfet electrode and measurement system was designed for isfet application and detection of hydronium, hydrazinium and potassium ions. also, a measuring setup containing appropriate circuits, suitable analyzer (advantech board), de noise reduction elements, cooling system and pc was used for controlling the isfet electrode and various characteristic measurements. the t...

Design and Simulation of a New Highly Sensitive Gas Sensor Based on Negative Refraction Photonic Crystal

In this paper, design and simulation of a new highly sensitive gas sensor based on a hybrid photonic crystal (PC) structure, containing negative and positive refractive index sections, is presented. It has been shown that using a PC with negative refraction in the first section, the transmitted power is concentrated on the entrance of the sensing channel, and the transmission of the proposed se...

an investigation of the impact of self monitoring on langauge teachers motivational practice and its effect on learners motivation

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...

lexical decomposition awareness and its effect on delayed receptive and productive recognition and recall of vocabulary knowledge of morphologically complex english words: an iranian efl context

abstract lexical knowledge of complex english words is an important part of language skills and crucial for fluent language use (nation, 2001). the present study, thus, was an attempt to assess the role of morphological decomposition awareness as a vocabulary learning strategy on learners’ productive and receptive recall and recognition of complex english words. so 90 sophomores (female and ma...

Precision of Pulse-Coupled Oscillator Synchronization on FPGA-Based Radios

The precision of synchronization algorithms based on the theory of pulse-coupled oscillators is evaluated on FPGAbased radios for the first time. Measurements show that such algorithms can reach precision in the low microsecond range when being implemented in the physical layer. Furthermore, we propose an algorithm extension accounting for phase rate deviations of the hardware and show that an ...
